The four bento sets
Every set comes with rice and is packed individually, so it is easy to hand out at a meeting or leave on desks. Here is what goes into each one:
- Ayam Set, $11: rice, ayam opor, bagedil, acar and sambal belado
- Beef Set, $11: rice, beef rendang, sayur lodeh, telor belado and sambal belado
- Fish Set, $11: rice, ikan belado hijau, sambal goreng, bagedil and belacan
- Vegetarian Set, $10: rice, sayur lodeh, sambal brinjal, bagedil and fried tempe
What a team lunch costs
Bento pricing is simple: the price per set, plus a fixed $20 per single drop-off. For a team of 20 having Beef Sets, that is $220 for the food and $20 for delivery, so $240 in total.
Mixing sets is normal and does not change the delivery fee. A team of 15 with 10 Ayam Sets and 5 Vegetarian Sets comes to $110 plus $50, which is $160, and with delivery $190.
Delivery to Jurong Island is charged separately, so if your office is there, ask us for a quote first. For bigger events with 40 or more guests, compare against our full catering set-up at $20 per person.
Halal, in plain terms
We are a Muslim-owned business and our kitchen is halal-prepared. We do not hold MUIS halal certification.
Many offices simply need food their Muslim colleagues are comfortable eating, and others have a policy that requires a MUIS certificate. If yours has that policy, please check before you order. Our guide to halal labels explains the difference.
Tips for ordering for an office
Collect dietary needs first. Ask who is vegetarian, who avoids beef, and who prefers less spice. The sambal is part of the meal, so colleagues who are not used to chilli may want to know that before they open the box.
Confirm your headcount, then add one or two spare sets if people tend to bring a guest or join late. It is easier than splitting a box.
Give us a delivery time and a contact on site. Delivery runs between 11:00am and 6:00pm daily, so a 12:30pm lunch is straightforward. Tell us the building, level and who will receive the food.
If your team would rather share a spread than open individual boxes, bulk orders on disposable trays are another option. You choose the dishes a la carte from our menu and we help you work out quantities over WhatsApp.
Ordering and notice
Please order at least five working days before the date. Bookings are subject to availability. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event are not refunded.
Packed food is meant to be eaten soon after it arrives. Our catering guideline, in line with SFA guidance, is that food is eaten within 4 hours, so plan the delivery close to when people will actually eat.
