Our morning hours
Our doors open at 7:00am, Tuesday to Sunday, and we close at 5:00pm. On Mondays we are closed. That is the whole schedule, the same every week.
Other shops keep their own hours, and they can change, so we would not want to guess them for you. If you are planning around another place, check its own listing or call it before you set off.

What is on the counter at 7:00am
There is no separate breakfast menu. The counter at opening time is the same spread of freshly-cooked Minangkabau dishes we serve through the day, cooked in the kitchen from early morning.
That means you can have beef rendang, ayam kalio, sambal goreng or telur balado over rice at 7:00am if that is what you fancy. The spread changes daily, so see our menu for the regulars and ask what is fresh.

A lighter plate to start the day
Not everyone wants a full lunch-sized plate first thing. A smaller breakfast might be rice with one vegetable, an egg and a spoon of sambal, or simply one meat dish and some greens.
One of our Google reviewers, Erni M. Kasim, mentioned "a good variety of dishes, kuih-kuih and local drinks", so there is room for something lighter alongside your plate. What is available on the day depends on the kitchen, so ask at the counter.
What early diners tell us
Heiril Osman wrote on Google: "Food is awesome, good variety for a full meal or a quick snack. Good for a quiet breakfast, before stepping into the daily storm called the office. Or life."
Nike Clooner wrote: "Breakfast as early as 7am? You won't be disappointed. Came by twice during our staycay at the nearest hotel. Service was fast and friendly. Recommended."
Why come early
Mornings are the quiet hours. Lunch is when the queue forms, and on Fridays the whole area gets busy around midday prayers at Sultan Mosque. An early visit means the full counter, an easier seat and easier parking along North Bridge Road.
We are about a 5 minute walk from Bugis MRT, a few steps from Sultan Mosque. Directions and the enquiry form are on our visit page, and the walking routes are in our Bugis and Arab Street guide.
Coming as a family or a group
Weekend mornings are a nice time to bring the family, before the neighbourhood fills up. If there are many of you, call +65 6291 0109 or WhatsApp +65 8891 5262 ahead so we can help with seating.
We are a Muslim-owned, halal-prepared kitchen. We are not MUIS halal-certified, so families who need certification can decide what suits them.
